Change of pace to something lighter. I have been with my partner for almost 5 years now. Of that almost 5 years, we've been in a long-distance relationship for a good part of it, because we've been taking turns pursuing study opportunities. He first spent a year studying in the Philippines, while I was working in Tonga. Then when he graduated and came back to Tonga, I got a scholarship and came to the UK to study for my Masters. I've been here a lot longer than anyone could have expected because of the pandemic, and obviously, it sucks not being able to see your loved ones, when they're in a country on the other side of the world with a 13 hour time difference.
I mentioned before in my previous post on mental health, that my partner has been extremely supportive and understanding of my struggles. I've had a lot of nervous breakdowns and panic attacks while in London lockdown, and I've subjected my partner to too many ugly crying video calls 😂😂.
There really is only so much either of us can do in this current situation, but I am lucky he is a kind and patient man. In the meantime, I can't wait to see him and cry on his shoulder and get tears and snot on his shirt like I always do 😂😂. That's it for today. Byeeee.
